Beware the Ides of uh, March…
March 19, 2008
..all right, I’m 4 days late, so what? Last week has been shitty for me–health-wise. Freaking allergy kicked in and whooped my ass pretty good.
So yea, the third week for my exercise has been postponed due to severe allergies. Oh joy.
Anyway, I started taking meds so I’m doing ok so far. Restarted week 3 again today and I finished Exercise Set A last Monday and will be doing Exercise Set B in a few hours.
Aside from those things, everything’s peachy at the moment.
2nd week…
March 9, 2008
2nd Week is done and over with— and it kicked my ass as usual.
Though weight loss slowed down lost 1 lbs this week compared to the 3 lbs last week… either it has been replaced by a bit of mass or it got sabotaged by my diet.. hmm, I need to monitor that one.
Starting 3rd week this Tuesday. We’ll see how it goes.
Oh yea, the routines are similar including for the second week’s "final" superset but have to do it twice. Third week will be different though. I’m curious how this week will turn out.
I already noticed the difference as far as strength is concerned– not by much(for now) but I feel that I have more energy to move around and I don’t get tired or winded quick.
I will probably going to add my running routine after week 3–once I’m more "in the groove" of things. Probably starts off with a 1.5-mile run on my days that I don’t exercise.
Week 1
March 1, 2008
All right, I was able to finish my routine for Week 1. Here’s the breakdown of my routine for this week:

Perform these two exercises back-to-back, no rest between. Rest 1 minute before repeating the superset two more times.
Shoulder Press Pushup (10 REPS)

INTERVAL WORKOUT A
Warm up for 3 minutes, getting progressively more intense with time.
Perform an interval by exercising for 30 seconds at a very hard pace (at a subjective 8/10 level of effort).
That was the Workout set that I did this Monday. It kicked my ass but it felt good…

- 20 Prisoner Squats

Of course, all of these routine will be for nothing if I didn’t watch what I eat… I’ve been maintaining a stricter but healthy eating habits…
Already lost 10 lbs, I need to lose 15 lbs more!
yea, well…
February 24, 2008
Month two, February 24th 2008.
So, since my sleeping pattern is all fucked up, I might as well do something productive(making a blog entry is definitely not one of those I think, hah). Well, things are going fine at the moment… my brother is doing good in the Navy, my baby bro about to become a Senior and pretty active in school as well and my Mom, despite the slew of minor illnesses she has been through these past few weeks, she’s doing pretty well. I guess that puts me ahead of other people, heh.
One of the things I have to work on are my eating habits; since my family has a history of illnesses such as Diabetes and all that nasty shit, and since Im about to hit the big 3-0 soon, I decided that it’s time to make a major lifestyle change… otherwise, I will end up as a statistic if I don’t pull my shit together.
Anyways, I’ve started watching my eating habits around the 3rd week of January: I only drank soda once a week, I haven’t even had an ice cream for awhile now and I’ve drastically cut down on rice.
As a result, from the 3rd week of January to the second week of Feb, I lost 9 lbs(179-170). Of course, that’s just the water weight, I have to start doing a more direct and active approach to losing weight (which I will start this Monday) in order to start trimming down and yes, bringing sexy back, haha.
My regimen will start Monday, then do the next one on Wednesday and the last test on Saturday for my week 1.
We’ll how it goes this week. Updates this Saturday.
It’s 2008! Now what?
January 1, 2008
I was kinda "zoned out" the entire day— I didn’t even realized what time it was until the last 3 minutes into the new year.
I thought: "whatever, might as well wait for the damn fireworks show on the Strip then…"
I waited. Two minutes, 32 seconds to go.
Looked at the clock in our living room. One minute, 5 seconds to go.
*tick* tock* *tick* *tock*
Took a swig of my Pepsi. Glanced at our DVR Time Display. Final ten seconds.
*burp*
Ten.
Nine.
Eight.
Seven.
Six.
Five.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One.
2008! Or so the Gregorian Calendar said. Or 12.19.14.17.4 — if you prefer the "Long Count" of an Aztec.
(I may be wrong on the Aztec calendar marking. It’s been awhile since I played around with those things).
Anyway, I only stood there for like, twenty seconds before retreating back to my little cave- er, room.
However, I wasn’t really paying attention to the firework display… my mind was wandering elsewhere; trying to find that spark, that inspiration… on how to approach this new year with renewed vigor, with a resolve as tough as granite. Last year’s was pretty good as far as resolutions were concerned; was able to do most of the things that I wanted to do.. I hope that it is enough to lay the foundations for my future plans.
I hope this is it. 2008, my breakout year.
Random thoughts. Or something.

*If you assume a 2GB iPod will fit your musical needs, you’re probably wrong.
*If you think your variance report seems to be error-free for your boss to read in the morning, you are wrong.
*If you honestly think that the girl/boyfriend that you are with will be the one you’re going to be with for the rest of your life, you are dead wrong.
My point? Every time that you make a mistake no matter how minuscule it may be, you should pay attention to it— oftentimes, these "harmless" errors always leads to a bigger one: you only realize your folly when your in deep trouble and it’s too late.
Master of the obvious? Well, you wouldn’t believe how many people fell for these kind of predicaments, heh.
;O;

Note to self:
Don’t eat Ice Cream with Chocolate syrup while wearing your favorite summer shirt and walking upwind; it’s a perfect recipe for laundry disaster.
hmm
July 10, 2007
Well, so far so good– I’ve been able to take care of some of the business I had in mind and I would like to thank my cousins Jan and JR for that one.
Though I would peg my progress around at 10% completed at the moment; we still got our work cut out for us; discipline and efficient management is truly the key here… if I’m going to improve my situation, I would start with myself and that’s what I’ve been doing for the past couple of weeks already. If I can’t do this shit for myself, I think that my chances of busting out this rut are almost nil. I’m going to fight this as far as I can and prove to some people that they are fucking DEAD WRONG about me.
July hopes
July 1, 2007
Well, after 4-month slump on everything, I’m hopeful that this July will be the start of something better for this year. It hasn’t been a smooth ride as I hope it would be but hey, either you willingly get yourself stuck in a rut or slog forward, it’s really up to you on how you want to make it.
There are so many things that I let slide and now I’m backlogged with a lot of stuff whether it’s financial, career, health and personal business . Time management is needed for this sort of thing; I want my stuff as organized as possible.
Anyways, we’ll see how it goes for this month.
Rant rant rant
May 20, 2007
Can’t let this kind of shit fuck me over; I’ve been saying that to myself countless times. Me saying I’ve been the victim would be a fallacy, I know for a fact that I did something not too pleasant as well… doing something awful and being a victim (of some other shit) at the same time… well, I guess I did deserved it since it kinda evened out, no?
We are never too old to learn. Sure you mature as you grow but that doesn’t necessarily means that you are wise… you never will be. Anyone saying that they already know shit is an idiot. Okay, maybe not an idiot but unwise through and through.
I still have alot of growing up to do; I’m only 28 and I have long ways to go and Goddamn if I will allow myself to be this fucked up just because I got fucked over by someone (and fucked someone over).
To you who caused all of this crap, all I have to say is this: thank you for showing your true colors early otherwise I would have been in deeper shit that will be difficult to get out of. I will not harbor ill-feelings towards you nor do anything against you at all. May you have a full life to you and your family. Everything was happening so fast and I damn sure know that quickly built meant quickly abandoned. I felt this thing was built on a quicksand and having something built on a quicksand is no bargain at all. And here I am paid the price quite handsomely: a couple of weeks of sleepless nights, getting physically ill and all that fun stuff was the result. Anyways, I’m over with it.
And to the one that I screwed over: I’m very, very, terribly sorry. You absolutely have no fucking idea how awful I felt after all this… I will atone for my shortcoming, this I assure you.
